A "little" project continued...

The "little" project isn't very little at all!!! I can't believe that it was three years ago that we decided to buy a flat with two friends of ours (a couple) and the idea was to sell it on and make a quick buck. Well as we all know the housing market has somewhat gone tits up since then so we have decided to rent it out for the foreseeable future. It's been three weeks since we completed and received the keys and the snagging list still isn't completed! Broken mirror in the en-suite, lumpy carpet in the lounge, handles which are far from straight in the kitchen along with a plethora of other very annoying cock ups! We have a tenant moving in in just over a week so I think I will be slightly busy next week. The top pic is from the master bedroom and the other two are from the open plan lounge/kitchen. We have a large IKEA delivery next Wednesday, there are feature walls to be painted and a sofa which is too big for the lift and will have to be carried up thirteen flights of stairs!!!

Monday blues...

I always have problems with the colour blue, I want to use it somewhere but it never seems right somehow? I love blue and I've painted whole walls with it to then paint over it as soon as it's dry! I've started to introduce it in small ways here and there but maybe it's just not a colour for me to have in the home...

Fabulicious...

I want them....I need them! I came across these absolute beauties on good old Evilbay but they are in America Land! Boo hoo..... They were designed by Arne Hovmand Olsen and manufactured by Mogens Kold of Denmark. Raina if you are reading this I thought you would covet them all as much as I do!

A "little" project...

Just a few things which we have bought or are about to buy for a little project we have on the go right now which has to be finished by December 2nd. So far we have three Arne jacobsen Series 7 chairs, four Componibili units, some dark grey material, a lighter grey Atia bedlinen from Habitat, Sanderson's Dandelion fabric and a Doksta table from the big blue and yellow swedish box which we will be visiting this coming weekend. Now what could I be up to I hear you all ask??! More pics coming soon...
