Daily drooling...

Loving the scale of this room, the splashes of colour and the cut outs in the blue wall. MMMMmmmmmm Womb chair....

Cush-love...

...Becca over at Cushlab has been very busy with her new range of felt "Origami" cushions and very gorgeous they are too! As per usual I want one but can't decide on what colour to have but I'm loving the yellow version. There are many more colours available so if you have something in mind then just ask.

Fabric of life...

Vitra has re-issued the upholstered versions of the Eames side chair and armchair. The hopsack fabric is available in thirteen colours and can be combined with the eight colours of the seat shell. Although I do prefer the vintage fibreglass versions these do look rather gorgeous indeed!

Rooms with a view...

What a fantastic space and the yellow Eames chairs and Saarinen table are rather delicious too. I bet London looks fabulous at night from there.

It must be Summer...

...because our orange Panton chairs have come out of their Winter hibernation and are back out on the balcony, it is absolutely boiling here! We decided to have breakfast outside and very nice it was too. David had to get "his" iPad in on the action of course. Please excuse our vile railings which are in need of a lick of paint again, unfortunately we can't change them (the whole side of the Marina has the same and the council won't allow it!) so we are stuck with them....GGgggrrrrr.......

Herd of Eames...

I had never grouped my Eames chairs together before, I nearly broke my neck taking the one from above! I'm sure I have room for a few more somewhere...

Colour me Eames...

Same chairs...new colours. Herman Miller has announced five new colours and two new bases including the stacking/ganging base and the four legged base. The new colours are aqua sky, java, wafer, greystone and sparrow. It's great that these fantastic designs are more popular than ever and the colours are gorgeous but I still prefer the earlier fiberglass versions. The plastic versions are well just too plasticky and look a bit cheap for my liking, they just haven't got the "personality" of the fiberglass ones unfortunately.

Bowled over...

...I posted about a new Krenit obsession a few weeks ago and well I've bought four more to keep the red one company! I just couldn't help myself. At least they don't cost as much as my Eames chair addiction although they are rising in price lately.

I want to...

show you my new print. It's the follow up to "I want to rock with you" and will be available in my Etsy shop Yumalum in the next few days. I have no idea why people keep saying that I am obsessed with chairs!??...

And so it begins...

...my first Krenit bowl has arrived! I've never seen one in real life before and if I thought I liked them before well now I am completely smitten! The colour is just amazing and so intense, it really stands out against the outer matte black. I have my eyes peeled for a blue one, a chartreuse one, a yellow one.....the obsessing has well and truly begun...

Oh to have an apartment in New York...utter bliss! One day...maybe...possibly...when we win the lottery! This one in Manhattan is gorgeous and I would move in tomorrow. Loving the Krenit bowls on the Eames table, I've become completely obsessed with them lately. Such a simple and bold design and I need lots of them!
