Herman Miller and House Industries have joined forces to produce a limited edition series of eighty Eames wire base tables (LTR or Low Table Rod). They include A through Z numbers and ornaments from the Eames Century Modern font collection. Forty were available at the Herman Miller Reach event on September 16th and forty will be available at the House Industries exhibition at the Herman Miller Tokyo showroom on October 27th. Or of course I'm sure there will be a few cropping up on Evilbay eventually...
Each tabletop is hand printed by House Industries David Dodde, assembled by Herman Miller and then packaged in a special wooden crate.
Of course I need one (or more) so badly! I'm lusting over the gorgeous crate let alone the table!
