Not sure who designed this lamp but I want one, must do a bit more research. The reflective surface against the rawness of the concrete is superb. Loving the Arper Leaf chair ..... Via Remodelista
I'm in lust!!.....No, not with the funny little bear thing!! What a fantastic colour and I'm really not a great lover of yellow at all. I NEED an Eames rocker....or two and I've decided that it must be a fibreglass one......
Hmmmm......I wonder if Pantone will launch something similar to these cushions ? Stripe cushion by Gewoon available at Dutch by design. I want one with a green stripe though....
I'm in awe of the studio space in this redesigned warehouse in Chicago by James & Kutyla Architects It makes me want to paint my spiral staircase to my studio white ( although the stairs have to be replaced eventually!! ) and I must buy those IKEA ALEX drawers. The green paint on the walls isn't the only green element to the house because it is a great example of environmentally friendly living which includes geothermal heating, radiant heated floors, wind turbines, rain water cisterns, photovoltaic and thermal panels....very impressive. I thought I was doing well reducing my carbon footprint by recycling everything from cardboard toilet rolls to yogurt pots........
We ripped our bathroom apart four years ago now but I'm still in love with it. I designed it to be as minimal as possible and I never thought my partner David would go for it or even like it but he did. I recently freshened it up by painting the insert block in the wooden wall green and I also painted the wall and door grey which were a mid brown. The wooden walls were a real labour of love.....it took seven coats of stain/varnish to achieve the rich colour....
