...The spiral stairs are coming along nicely. I've sanded them and filled the holes with a metal putty which absolutely stinks but it dries solid and is ready to sand in an hour. There are five holes in each of the thirteen steps so it certainly is turning into a labour of love. I'm painting them with a white primer and the final coats will also be white. The walls are currently being covered with dry walling plasterboard to cover up the open joists at the top, it's looking so much better already. More pics soon...
