My Christmas cards are printed and they arrived today and I'm very pleased with the quality of the print and the card stock. They will be available in my Etsy shop yumalum in singles or packs of five from today....
Talking of chairs...
I took these photos on our recent trip to New York at MoMA, I had to go round twice just to make sure I hadn't missed anything! I especially loved the Eames Child's Chair above designed in 1945.
Chair love part 2...
Merry Christmas! Well it is for me, my Christmas present from David arrived today and it's gorgeous! I am extremely pleased with it and I can't believe I actually have one at last. Now I can try to make a decision on the flooring for the loft and match it to the two Eames chairs, I'm sort of close to a final choice! I think I shall name this week National Chair week...

My second parcel has arrived, a gorgeous Eames swivel shell chair which I bought on Ebay for £100 !! I have been on the look out for one for my loft for ages and I couldn't be happier. The fabric needs a bit of a clean but other than that it is in great condition. Even more incentive to get the loft finished. Oh happy days...
Cushion love...
It's like Christmas day! The first thing to arrive today was my beautiful felt woodgrain cushion from Cushlab. I love it and the grey and green combination is amazing. Like me, you can choose your own combination of colours and size etc and the lovely people over at Cushlab will also send out felt samples to help you create your perfect dream cushion. I'm off to sit and stare at it.......
Oh the shame...
The flooring is for this room, it has all been re-plastered to cover up the disgusting swirly artex and we had the cupboards built in for some much needed storage space. I hate the metalwork and that has to go and be replaced with a much more minimal look or perhaps frameless glass. The very dated spiral staircase also needs to be replaced. It's actually the last room that we need to finish and I have posted these pics to shame myself into doing so......
I'm floored....
Oh what to do!? I have to get my studio/loft finished, it's ridiculous that I'm not up there yet so I need to make a decision on what flooring to have! I've always liked the vinyl flooring shown above so I ordered these samples yesterday which arrived earlier today. I really like the dark grey (middle) but I also like the "greige" colour on the left but then again I like the white......Hmmmmm. The space is painted all white and I do like the idea of it being all white......Samples were ordered from Jaymart.

.....Yet more choices !!! I think I am suffering from chair madness! Maybe I should have named this blog "Eamesilicious"?...
Christmas is coming...
... and I am still in the process of getting my Christmas cards printed. Hopefully they will be available in my Etsy shop within the next week....fingers crossed!!!

Christmas has come early, my patner has said he will buy me an Eames RAR!!! I don't know which colour to go for....I really like the dark grey but then again I really like the greige and I really like the upholstered one and......
