Friday feast....

Some inspiration with a mid-century vibe for the weekend. I'm seriously thinking about a wall of wood behind my desk in the loft similar to what we have in our bathroom. I will be sorting out yet more rubbish this weekend for my big trip (or two!!!) to the tip next week!

Feel the love...

My sister has gone felt mad! She has just opened her Etsy shop Feltlove. At the moment she is selling tote bags and cards made using recycled felt, card, envelopes and material but she is also currently working on her spotty cushions made using her hand made felt....I have my eye on those!!!

Can't see the bath for the trees...

There is something I really like about the wallpaper in this bathroom! I seem to be drawn towards this type of mural design lately....very odd! Via ffffound

Blooming gorgeous cards...

A variation of my Blooming Gorgeous design is now available as greetings cards in my Etsy shop yumalum.

Little Biglove...

Biglove cards are now available in my Etsy shop yumalum! Feel the Biglove...

Dining with Eames...

You know when someone asks you who would you like to invite to a dinner party alive or dead, well I would love to be able to invite Charles and Ray Eames. I'm sure the other guests ( Kenneth Williams, Marilyn Monroe, Andy Warhol, Madonna and Stephen Fry ) would be bored stupid with me talking about chairs all night but hey it's my dinner party after all! I'll just have to make do with looking at these Eames chairs instead. Who would you invite?......

Cupboard love...

These cupboards called Naked Line have inspired me, I really like the colour combination of the orange and grey and I think I may try it out on the Aspvik unit I recently bought from IKEA for my loft. Sage green and grey would look good, now where did I put that spray paint?.........Via Design Milk

Orla madness...

The rush is on in the US for Orla Kiely's low price designer range for Target! Unfortunately for all the Orla devotees out there outside the US the only place you will be able to get your hands on it is good old Evilbay. I suppose we can't really complain in the UK because we do have her beautiful shop in Covent Garden to wander around and her range in Heals. We bought my sister the multi stem bedlinen for Christmas and it really is beautiful and the packaging is amazing! Loving the above graphics for Target. Via Print & Pattern

Blooming gorgeous...

Four new prints are now available in my Etsy shop yumalum  and greetings cards will follow very soon. A little something to catch your eye and brighten your day.....

More green....

Following on from the gorgeous green post this is most definitely GORGEOUS!!!! I missed a rocker in the exact same green on Evilbay a few months ago and I was distraught! This fine example is in Kim's office of Desire to Inspire and I think my heart skipped a beat when I saw it.....Via madebygirl

Gorgeous green?...

I'm not sure why but I have a real thing for rich greens at the moment!?? I've never been a great lover, infact I was more of a great hater! I remember when David and I first got together that his hallway was painted the exact same green as in the kitchen pic above and I loathed it with a vengance, it wasn't long before I painted over the whole lot with white....it took about 5 coats of good paint to cover it!! Anyway I keep eyeing up the wall where the hob is in our kitchen thinking it would look great with the new white handle-less look of the units when they are done. Will I...won't I??....you will just have to wait and see but knowing me I will wait until David is away for the night and just do it!!!
